Description:

Estate dangle earrings crafted from 14k yellow gold.

Oval brushed medals, centered with diamond cut, squiggles, possibly depicting snakes, dangling from oval polished top.

Back oval medal is matte, brushed, textured finish.

Pierced post with butterfly nuts.

Gorgeous earrings!

Length: 1-3/16 inches (30 mm)(top to bottom)

Weight: 3.8 grams

Hallmark:

Hallmark: Italy 14K B in a double circles. The earrings post and butterfly nuts are marked 585 (European for 14k gold).

I have seen this makers mark attributed to older Tagliamonte jewelry. However, I have not been able to verify this. If these are indeed Tagliamonte, they are different from his usual Intaglios and stamped motifs. Nevertheless, whoever the maker is, this is an unusual and beautiful pair of earrings.

Tested guaranteed to be 14k pure gold.

Condition:

Excellent condition. Any dark spots are only reflections.
